Tamara Jean

Tamara creates art & teaches classes that move and inspire. She believes art is a powerful tool for transformation and healing. Her biggest passion is connecting with people through art.

She began her art business in 1990, painting signs, banners, murals, and custom pieces for business and individuals in her community in Southern California. She quickly became the resident artist in every town and city in which she lived. Her fame even spread beyond her own community, and she found herself joyfully creating pieces all over Southern California!

She regularly uses art in her own journey of healing and is now sharing her classes with the community. She is thrilled that science is finally affirming what artists have known for millennia: the creative process helps us release stress and promotes healing & wholeness!

Tamara is inspired by artists like Gleb Goloubetski, Ty Wilson, and Steven James Collins. She loves to use a variety of mediums, including fabric, paper, wood, canvas, oil, acrylic, watercolor, charcoal, marker, and pencils. Many of her compositions include themes inspired by her journeys and she hopes they will help the hurting and make an impact in her community as well as the world. 

Tamara’s happy place is near the ocean. The minute her toes hit the sand, she is stress free! And if you add her grandkids to this happy setting, she is on cloud 9!



Corissa Jade

Corissa is a creative force with a keen knack for organizing and strategizing. She keeps TamsArt afloat with her skills of administration, managing contracts, social media, and this very website! 

Corissa is passionate about the intersection of different art forms. She is primarily a performance artist: she is a trained actor and loves to sing & move her body! She is actively exploring the intersection of performance and visual art, and delights in leading TamsArt painters through exercises that help them connect with their bodies and themselves.

Corissa is also a mom of 2 tiny, energetic humans! She lives in Los Angeles, where she is involved in theatre and the pursuit of justice in her community. Her happy place is at the beach, around a roaring bonfire with good food, music, and friends!
